The Brief
DG Magazine was publisishing a series of magazines of influential creators throughout history. A magazine cover was required. I chose the Mexican artist, Frida Kahlo and used a combination of digital illustration and photo editing to best showcase her persona, and the work she was most known for. I purposfully made this piece more contemporary as I wanted to represent her imagery in the context of the 21st century.
